Mother Nature, Tear Down This Wall

"The good news is this," said The Dean, first thing on this second consecutive day of being in a State of Emergency. "Our driveway is partially cleared."

"Did Tony come by last night?" I asked.

Not quite. Mother Nature once again showed what she's capable of.

Which would be this: overnight winds of such force and intensity that they practically cleared a section of our driveway ... creating a wall of snow approximately 4' high in the middle of the driveway.

I love the Blizzard Pac-Man shadow on the left, don't you?

Another shot of the wall of snow below (this is what one sees standing in our garage):

And just for good measure, a few icicles on the roof of the garage.

Mother Nature, I cry Uncle.

Enough of this winter.

Get my drift?

The snow looks great for playing in, though... :)

You're having it really bad there! Maybe you should consider shipping some of your snow off to the Olympics.

That wind was ridiculous last night. It's been pretty windy still today too. Hubby was able to snow blog to get out this morning to go to work. Fabulous pictures. Love the pacman too. Aren't shadows so fun??

Priya ~ the kids are enjoying it!

Jodie ~ the Olympics are more than welcome to as much as they want. Free of charge.

Mel - snow blog? :) That wind was intense. Kinda scared me.

That's crazy. Those icicles could commit the perfect murder, you know? Stab someone clear through to brain and then melt leaving no clues. (And aren't I in a nice frame of mind?) I do like the vert ramp in the driveway. Just in time for the Winter games.
