Read-a-thon Update #3: I Finished a Book!

I finished a book! I finished a book! I finished a book!

An entire book, from start to finish!

This makes this my most successful Read-a-Thon ever with the most hours read (6!) and total pages read (339!).  Squeeee!

The book is the one I've been reading since this afternoon, The Blind Contessa's New Machine, which is 207 pages.  (The other pages were from two books-in-progress that I finished earlier this morning.)

We're approaching Hour 14 now, and I'm not really all that tired.  Keep in mind, I haven't been reading all day and I managed to get a little nap in this afternoon, so I'm still fairly awake.

Snackwise, I just had a bowl of ice cream (cookies and cream).  The Yankees-Twins game is on TV (my Yankees fan of a husband is watching).

And more books are calling my name.  Here are the ones that I hope to still get to:

Little Billy's Letters: An Incorrigible Inner Child's Correspondence with the Famous, Infamous, and Just Plain Bewildered, by Bill Geerhart

Saving Sky, by Diane Stanley (this is a YA novel)

Lay Back the Darkness, Poems by Edward Hirsch

copyright 2010, Melissa (Betty and Boo's Mommy, The Betty and Boo Chronicles) If you are reading this on a blog or website other than The Betty and Boo Chronicles or via a feedreader, this content has been stolen and used without permission.

Congratulations on finishing a book! I hope to as well, before the night is out - I keep switching. Good luck with the rest of the Read-a-Thon.
