Gone to the Beach

We are here.

Eating decadent breakfasts.
(Cholesterol levels be damned.)

Reading Dangerous Neighbors by Beth Kephart on the beach.
(And the Summer Fiction issue of The New Yorker on the porch, via Kindle).

Celebrating an anniversary.
(Number 18.)

Playing in the sand and walking down by the bay.
(No chair or canoe this year. No problem.)

Managing cranky-ass kids who are unhappy about cloudy weather.
(Deal with it.  Life happens.)

Unplugging and recharging batteries.
