Went to Punxsutawney to celebrate Groundhog Day 10 years ago - LOVED the experience and keep hoping to make it back for another celebration.

For a brief and foolish few moments we considered going, until confronted with these realities:

1. Its almost four hours away
2. The trip guide suggests you get to Gobbler's Knob by FIVE AM
3. This would mean getting on the road at prime deer/bear/possum/gas field truck hitting time
4. We have to work tomorrow

Someday, though. Someday.

Punxsutawney is on my bucket list. I love watching the movie on Groundhog day.

We have a big fat cranky cat who we call Punxsutawney Phyllis.

Thank goodness my children grew up having to learn how to spell "Ithaca" and not "Punxsutawney"! LOL!

Ha! Thanks for making me think of the movie Groundhog Day, a modern classic.

Ah, yes -- and just seeing these signs makes me think of "Groundhog Day" (the movie, that is! Though the holiday, too...). Hopefully Phil will tell us spring is afoot!

Ah, yes, tomorrow is the big day in central PA, isn't it? I guess we should dust off our VHS tape of Groundhog Day and watch again!

Not sure what Phil can tell us tomorrow that we don't already know - it's been 60 degrees here the past 2 days!
